09/25/16DBSenquez GolsonFootOUTGolson (foot) is ruled out for Sunday's contest with the Eagles.

Golson has not yet fully recovered from the Lisfranc surgery that he underwent in early August, but the 23-year-old is making tremendous progress. According to various reports, Golson is ahead of schedule and could be nearing a return to action in the coming weeks.

09/25/16RBRoosevelt Nix-JonesBackOUTNix (back) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's contest.

Nix is unlikely to suit up for Sunday's date with Philadelphia which means that he could be in line to miss a third consecutive game. On the bright side, it does appear that he will be able to play within the coming weeks regardless of his status for Sunday.

08/19/16RBLe'Veon BellSuspensionSUSPENDBell will rejoin the Steelers on Monday after serving his three-game suspension, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Bell watched his team go 2-1 in his absence, with veteran DeAngelo Williams rushing for the sixth-most yards (258) in the league to this point as well. While Bell figures to reclaim the vast majority of the Steelers' backfield workload form Williams, his return from suspension also figures to help Pittsburgh's passing game, where they've lacked a consistent alternative option to star Antonio Brown. In fact, Williams boasts the second-most receptions (14) among his Steelers teammates right now, evidencing the huge upside Bell has in reassuming his lead role this Sunday against the Chiefs.

07/29/16WRMartavis BryantSuspensionSUSPENDBryant was never under consideration of being cut by the Steelers despite his recently imposed year-long suspension, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

Bryant's multiple violations of the league's substance abuse policy triggered a minimum one-year suspension from the league, but the Steelers never considered releasing him, according to general manager Kevin Colbert. Instead, Pittsburgh will hope Bryant makes the necessary changes to his life to get reinstated next year, when he would have two years remaining on his contract with the team. With Bryant suspended, Steelers receivers Markus Wheaton and, more specifically, Sammie Coates, will be looked upon to take advantage of their increased opportunities this season.

09/25/16DBColt AndersonFootOUTAnderson (foot) did not practice Friday and listed as out for Sunday's game against Arizona.

Anderson practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday and Thursday but was absent from Friday's practice. It's unsure why he was held out, but there has been speculation that he may have suffered some sort of setback during Thursday's practice. Regardless, Anderson was not expected to get much run against Arizona.

09/25/16QBCardale JonesShoulderOUTJones (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Cardinals.

Jones will have to wait at least one more week before he suits up for his first NFL game, as he has been inactive the first three weeks of the season with a shoulder injury. EJ Manuel will again serve as the No. 2 quarterback behind Tyrod Taylor on Sunday.

08/24/16LBKevin ReddickKneeQUESTIONABLEReddick, who suffered a sprained MCL in practice Friday, was waived/injured by the Bills on Sunday.

The Bills didn't have much choice here with several other linebackers injured and reinforcements needed. If Reddick clears injury waivers, the Bills can then either place the him on IR or agree to an injury settlement with him.

08/17/16DLMarcell DareusSuspensionSUSPENDDareus (suspension) has opted to leave the Bills in order to receive treatment. "After careful consideration of recent events within my life, I have made the decision to enter a rehabilitation facility," he said in a statement. "I feel this is the best decision for me, my family and my teammates as I move forward with my career. I appreciate the support of my teammates and the Bills organization through this process."

Earlier this week, Dareus received his second suspension for a violation of the NFL's Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse. Among other issues in his personal life, he'll extend his time away from the team with the aim of getting on the straight and narrow. If the defensive tackle indeed comes back to the Bills with a different state of mind, his pass-rushing prowess will be valuable, as he's notched 31.5 sacks in 78 career games.

07/29/16WRKolby ListenbeePelvisOUTListenbee, still recovering from double hernia surgery, was placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list on Tuesday, BuffaloBills.com reports.

Listenbee will miss at least the first six weeks of the regular season. The Bills have a major logjam at wide receiver and with some tough roster decisions to make may just stash the speedy Listenbee away for the bulk of the season, then work on his upside once he's fully healthy and more prepared for action.
