FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Eddie Johnson scored three goals, including a game winner in the 82nd minute, to lead the Kansas City Wizards to a 4-3 victory over the New England Revolution on Saturday.
Kansas City (5-2-1) extended its undefeated streak at New England to 11 matches since a 3-2 loss on Sept. 7, 1999. The loss snapped a seven-game unbeaten streak for the Revolution (5-2-2).
New England quickly built a 2-0 lead by the 23rd minute with unassisted goals from Steve Ralston and Taylor Twellman.
The Wizards, however, tied the game with goals in the 25th minute by Davy Arnaud and by Johnson in the 26th minute. Johnson sent the Wizards into halftime with a 3-2 lead with his his second goal of the game in the 38th minute.
New England's Shalrie Joseph converted a penalty-kick in the 69th minute to tie the score again, but Johnson secured the game for the Wizards when he scored his third goal.
