FOXBOROOUGH, Mass. -- Patrick Noonan scored two goals to lead the New England Revolution to a 4-2 victory over FC Dallas on Saturday night.

Celebrating his 28th birthday, Carlos Ruiz scored both goals for F.C. Dallas (12-9-3). He tied the match with his fifth goal in the 35th minute and then scored again in the 84th minute.

Dax McCarthy's free kick set up Ruiz' first goal, while Dominic Oduro's cross set up his header late in the match.

Steve Ralston scored what proved to be the game-winner for New England (13-6-6) in the 78th minute, putting in a rebound of his own shot -- his third goal of the season.

Noonan gave New England a 1-0 lead with his sixth goal in the 29th minute that snapped a six-match scoring drought. He regained the lead for the Revolution in the 65th minute, one-timing a cross from Jeff Larentowicz.

Khano Smith capped the scoring with his first goal for New England in the 90th minute.
