BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. -- Chad Barrett scored the winning goal and had an assist in the Chicago Fire's 2-1 victory over the New England Revolution on Saturday.

Barrett scored in the 60th minute, beating Matt Reis after the goalkeeper blocked Paulo Wanchope's shot. It was Barrett's seventh goal of the season.

New England took the lead in the 24th minute on Jeff Larentowicz's goal, and Chris Rolfe tied it just before halftime off a pass from Barrett.

The Fire improved to 9-10-9, and the Revolution fell to 14-7-7.

Chicago coach Juan Carlos Osorio missed the game after receiving a red card last week in a game against Chivas USA.
