With Real Madrid’s draw on Saturday, a win at Malaga would have moved Barcelona into a tie atop the standings in La Liga. Instead, Barca is still three points back.

An inspired Malaga beat Barcelona 2-0 in a poorly officiated match that saw Barca threaten but fail to impress in the final third. It was a Sandro goal in the 32nd minute that was enough for the hosts before Jony’s goal in the 90th put the match to rest.

Here’s the winning goal from the former Barcelona man:

Neymar received a red card for Barca just after the hour mark after his second yellow card, and it was a nightmare performance for the visitors, who had 67 percent of the possession but were out shot on goal 4-3.

Barca is now three points back of Real with one more match played.
