The final spot in the Premier League has been decided. On Monday at Wembley Stadium, Huddersfield Town beat Reading in penalty kicks 4-3 in the promotion play-off to earn promotion to the top flight after the match finished 0-0.

Huddersfield goalkeeper Danny Ward, on loan from Liverpool, made two fantastic saves during the penalty to turn the tide when it looked like Reading was in control after an early miss by the Terriers. And then Christopher Schindler scored the winning penalty kick to send the fans into a frenzy as its top-flight dreams came true:

Legendary actor Patrick Stewart, who you probably recognize from Star Trek and X-Men, was in attendance. A massive Huddersfield Town fan, it was a day he won't forget.

Huddersfield joins Brighton and Newcastle as new teams in the league for 2017-18. It will be Huddersfield's first appearance in the top flight since 1971-72.
