Manchester United and Ajax will battle in Stockholm, Sweden on Wednesday in the Europa League final. The Red Devils and Dutch side enter the match failing to meet expectations domestically, with United finishing sixth in the Premier League and Ajax ending up second in the Eredivisie.

But this is their chance to make a statement, as the winner takes home the trophy and earns a spot in the 2017-18 Champions League group stage. More is on the line for United, as Ajax is already qualified for the UCL third qualifying round since it finished second in the league.

Here's how you can watch the match and what to know:

Lineups

A battle of fallen giants

These are two team names fit for a Champions League final, two teams that haven't been at the top in quite a while. Two of the greatest European clubs in history, United has actually won the Champions League three times but has never won the Europa League, formerly known as the UEFA Cup. Ajax has four Champions League titles to its name, with one UEFA Cup back in 1992.

Player to watch

Kasper Dolberg. The young Danish striker plays for Ajax and is just 19. He has six goals in the competition and will give United a bunch of trouble at the back.

Odds

Ajax to win - 4/1
Draw - 34/13
Man United to win - 11/13

Prediction

So much is riding on this for United, and it gets the job with a big second half with Marcus Rashford scoring twice. United 2, Ajax 1.
