Monaco vs. Borussia Dortmund aggregate score, highlights: Mbappe, Falcao score in big win
Monaco moved on comfortably to the semis
Monaco's magic lives on. On Wednesday in the Champions League quarterfinals, Monaco again put three past Borussia Dortmund to advance to the semifinals. After last week's 3-2 win at Dortmund, Monaco won the second leg 3-1 at home to advance 6-3 on aggregate in a battle of dark horses.
And Monaco didn't need long to get going. Kylian Mbappe scored just three minutes in to put the pressure on Dortmund big time:
Radamel Falcao then made it 2-0 and 5-2 on aggregate 14 minutes later:
Marco Reus got one back for Dortmund early in the second half, but his team still needed two more. It couldn't get it, as Valere Germain cemented the result for the hosts with a goal in the 81st minute.
The win allows Monaco to continue fighting in a competition most gave it no chance. The team knocked out Manchester City in the round of 16 and now joins Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Juventus in the semis.
