Ronaldo misses training ahead of important Champions League clash with Napoli
Ronaldo received a knock at the weekend
Cristiano Ronaldo missed team training with Real Madrid on Monday, fueling concerns as to whether he will be fit to play against Napoli midweek in the Champions League.
According to Marca, Ronaldo trained by himself in the gym after picking up a knock on his right leg Saturday in La Liga against Osasuna, a match Real won 3-1.
The report says Ronaldo is expected to return to training on Tuesday and should be OK to face the Italian side in the Round of 16 clash on Wednesday.
Of course, if Ronaldo can't go, it will be a big blow to the team, looking to repeat as UCL winners.
All signs point to him playing, so as for right now, Real fans need not worry. If he were to miss the match, Karim Benzema would likely start in attack alongside Isco and Lucas Vazquez as Gareth Bale remains injured.
