It's summer time, and that means the world of soccer transfers is staying busy as can be. Our Eye on Soccer team will break down all the big moves you should keep an eye on as the club season nears, providing analysis, details and an overall grade.

Who's moving: Manchester City has made a move as it looks to return to the summit of the Premier League by signing Spanish star winger Nolito from Celta Vigo on a four-year deal.

Transfer fee: According to various reports, the fee is $18.3 million.

Player breakdown: A late bloomer, the 29-year-old has transformed into a star at Celta, where he joined in 2013. He scored 39 goals in 100 matches and is fantastic at going one-on-one with a defender, while showing quality in passing and shooting. An aware player who has gotten better with age, he has become an important player for the Spanish national team, scoring a goal at Euro 2016.

Team fit: He's another winger on a team full of them. The former Barcelona, Benfica and Granada man's move surely lights a fire under the bottom of Raheem Sterling. It won't be shocking if he is used more off the bench than anything, but his intention is to start and star for City. He'll get his chance. More technically gifted than Sterling and fellow winger and Spaniard Jesus Navas, Nolito could be the perfect pairing with Sergio Aguero up top as he works well with speedy forwards.

Positives: Not very expensive and a consistent contributor. Could be a star in England.

Negatives: Realistically, for a player turning 30 in October, you can expect two really good seasons more, maybe three. After that, not much. Worth the risk?

Outlook: Fine player whose style is suited more for Spain. Can he deal with the pace and physicality in England? He's familiar with many of City's players like David Silva. If he stays confident and can adapt to the pace, he could be a big signing for City.

Grade: B+
