The U.S. U-20 national team earned a point in its first match at the U-20 World Cup in South Korea. Early on Monday, the red, white and blue came from behind to draw Ecuador 3-3. The South Americans led 2-0 just seven minutes in, before the U.S. drew level, but the Americans needed a goal in added time to salvage a draw after a horrendous error at the back by goalkeeper Jonathan Klinsmann.
After Josh Sargent had scored the first two goals for the U.S., it was Luca De La Torre's 94th-minute strike inside the box that saw the U.S. take a point.

A good result considering the circumstances, the U.S. ends the first day tied with Ecuador in second place in Group F. Senegal has three points after beating Saudi Arabia.
The U.S. returns to action on Thursday against Senegal. That match is at 7 a.m. and will air on FS1 and Telemundo.
