Real Madrid's unbeaten record is over. Securing the Spanish record at 40 matches after drawing at Sevilla on Thursday in the Copa del Rey, it was snapped on Sunday at Sevilla in La Liga.

Real led 1-0 thanks to a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty kick goal just after the hour mark but an own goal in the 85th minute made it 1-1. To make it worse, Stevan Jovetic nailed the winner in the 92nd minute with Keylor Navas failing to save a ball that was in an area that he looked to have covered. Here's the winning goal.

Real Madrid's last loss came in April of last year against Wolfsburg in the Champions League. It has been quite a while since they suffered defeat, and now it is time to try and start a new record. During that streak, the team also won the Champions League, beating Atletico Madrid in May in penalty kicks.
