ROME (AP) -Messina goalkeeper Nicholas Caglioni should receive the maximum ban of two years after testing positive for cocaine, the Italian Olympic Committee recommended Monday.
The case will now be handled by the Italian soccer federation.
Traces of cocaine were found in Caglioni's test after Messina and Catania drew 1-1 in the Serie A on Feb. 11.
