SAO PAULO, Brazil (AP) -Saint-Etienne has reached a deal to acquire playmaker Marcinho from Brazil's Cruzeiro.
Cruzeiro said Wednesday it has already finalized transfer details with the French first division club, with ongoing contract negotiations between the 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder and Saint-Etienne.
Terms of the transfer were not immediately released, but local media said Saint-Etienne will pay US$6 million (?4.5 million)
Marcinho, whose full name is Marcio Miranda Freitas Rocha da Silva, is know for his exceptional ball control and nifty skills. He previously played for Corinthians, Palmeiras, Paulista and Sao Caetano.
