Galaxy, Argentine defender Dominguez agree to terms

Presented by Epson

CARSON, Calif. -- Argentine defender Eduardo Dominguez has agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Galaxy, and will join the team once he has obtained a visa and international transfer clearance, the MLS team said Tuesday.

The 29-year-old Dominguez has spent his pro career in South America, playing all but two of his seasons in the Argentine Pirmera Division. He began with Velez Sarsfield in 1996 and played 85 games before moving on to play for other Argentine clubs.

He signed with Colombian club Medellin in July 2006, and was with them for two years before returning to Argentina and signing with Huracan before the start of the 2008 Clausura in February.
