Suarez, who underwent arthroscopic surgery on May 22 following an injury suffered during practice, began training with the team on Thursday after previously doing individual work on the side as part of his rehabilitation process. The Liverpool striker was named to the team's 23-man roster after making positive progress following the surgery in time for Tabarez to make the decision to take him to Brazil.
The starting lineup will feature PSG striker Edinson Cavani alongside 2010 FIFA World Cup Golden Ball winner Diego Forlan. Espanyol striker Christian Stuani, who can serve the role of both an attacking midfielder and a forward, was also named a starter.
