Voting results: Neb.: 26%; Mt. Union: 25%; S. Fla.: 20%; Fla.: 10%; 'Bama: 9%; Louisville: 7%; Akron: 4% Week 13 was a close contest for five out of seven cheerleaders -- there was a five percentage point difference between first and second, two percentage points between second and third, a near tie for third and fourth, and a mere one percent separating fourth and fifth place. Even though the BCS system worked against Missouri, the Tigers cheerleader was voted into the CCotW playoffs by receiving 23 percent of the vote. Virginia Tech won second place with 18 percent; Texas took third place over Florida (who finished fourth), by 179 votes; and West Virginia was fifth with 15 percent. Auburn and Georgia almost tied for last place, but the Bulldogs cheerleader received 28 fewer votes. This week, we've got cheerleaders from the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Louisville Cardinals, South Florida Bulls, Mount Union Raiders, Florida Gators, Akron Zips and Alabama Crimson Tide vying for your votes. And once again, the rules: The weekly winners qualify for a playoff tournament, where cheerleaders are seeded according to the number of votes they received in the regular season. The cheerleader who comes out on top in the end is crowned SPiN's College Cheerleader of the Year. Voting for this week's crop of photos ends on Monday, Dec. 10 at noon EST. Official results will be posted shortly after the polls close.
