College Cheerleader of the Week: Week 15

EDITOR'S NOTE: The College Cheerleader of the Week photo gallery is posted every Tuesday for your viewing pleasure. Voting for each week ends Monday at noon EST. Each week's winners become eligible for a playoff spot and compete for the overall title of SPiN's College Cheerleader of the Year.

Voting results: Central Florida: 46%; Kansas State: 21%; Wisconsin: 13%; Arizona State: 5%; Florida State: 5%; Virginia Tech: 4%; Georgia: 3%; Maryland: 2%
Total votes: 25,617

Week 14 was all about Nebraska vs. Mount Union as only 241 votes separated the two cheerleaders. The Cornhuskers' cheerleader came out on top, finishing in first place with 26 percent of the vote. Mount Union took second place with 25 percent, while South Florida finished third with 20 percent of the vote. The bottom four cheerleaders were Florida (fourth with 10 percent), Alabama (fifth with nine percent), Louisville (sixth with seven percent) and Akron (seventh with four percent).

This week, we've got cheerleaders from the Central Florida Knights, Virginia Tech Hokies, Georgia Bulldogs, Maryland Terrapins, Kansas State Wildcats, Florida State Seminoles, Arizona State Sun Devils and Wiconsin Badgers vying for your votes.

And once again, the rules: The weekly winners qualify for a playoff tournament, where cheerleaders are seeded according to the number of votes they received in the regular season. The cheerleader who comes out on top in the end is crowned SPiN's College Cheerleader of the Year.

Voting for this week's crop of photos ends on Monday, Dec. 17 at noon EST. Official results will be posted shortly after the polls close.

Also check out the profile of Week 7 winner Kylie Estes, from Mississippi State. Look for more profiles on SPiN in the coming weeks and during the playoffs.
