In typical horse-birthing fashion, Miles was spawned during some sort of metaphysical storm in Colorado on January 31, 1999. But unbeknownst to Broncos fans, it took nearly two years for Miles to become the team's official mascot.

In that span he matured by hanging with wild horses, which taught him to survive the Colorado climate and do stuff like this.

In 2001, Miles earned official status and ever since has enjoyed a steady diet of Invesco Field turf, hay and pizza (no Beefareeno), Mr. Ed and Monday Night Football, playing with his My Little Ponies and watching the Bobcat Goldthwait -John Candy-Dabney Coleman vehicle, Hot to Trot.

You had me at Goldthwait.

Somewhere beyond Thunderdome, an unkempt mass of Raider fans applies theater makeup and shoulder spikes, waiting for the big Sunday showdown. And although it probably won't be an opposing team, somebody is definitely getting their butt whipped.

It's scary to imagine the total number of felony offenses on the permanent records of the Raider Nation.

It's even more frightening when you consider most of the crimes probably happened in the stands during a game.

Raider fans grew up bitter due to being banned from wearing Raiders Starter jackets in their high school out of fear that they were a gang member.

They rebelled by creating the most over-the-top display of Raider gear possible, and forming a rowdy contingent worthy of the villainous Al Davis.
