The Dolphins might have ruled on The Simpsons, but we are clearly not in Springfield and this was not Snorky.
No matter how fierce dolphins might be, T.D. was no match for Poe, who is taking down opponent after opponent.
People just seem to like the underdog.
Remember the first time you cheered on Rudy? Or watched Burt Reynolds take on the guards in a prison in The Longest Yard (the original)?
Poe was ranked as a No. 16 seed and was at the bottom of the AFC division. Billy Buffalo was a No. 14 seed who took down Who Dey and Toro. This contest just proves that with toughness and perseverance, even an underdog can achieve greatness.
Billy Buffalo lucked out last round and didn’t have to face an opponent.
Unfortunately for Billy, there were only a few people who wanted an autograph while the majority was preparing him for a Buffalo wing contest. He really stuffed himself last round and could be taking turns popping Tums and chugging Pepto-Bismol.
Will Poe, the ultimate underdog, advance? Or will Billy Buffalo have the last laugh?
