At this very moment, right across the hall from where I’m typing this, there are CBS Sports employees pounding the keyboards to provide you with the most comprehensive, in-depth fantasy football news and statistics.

Chances are Jamey Eisenberg is currently holding a mock draft and thousands of football fans are wondering, "How could you take Adrian Peterson over LT?" or some other fantasy fodder.

Fact is, everywhere you look and every conversation you enter these days seems to be related to fantasy football. You might even have come to CBSSports.com today to sign up or do some research for your fantasy football league.

But during your yearly fantasy news search you wandered, perhaps stumbled off the beaten path. While your eyes were scanning the CBSSports home page, they might have been distracted. Whether driven by a Maxim Hometown Hottie or by Marisa Miller, today’s SPiN girl, you were compelled to click the link and take a ride on over to SPiN.

Maybe you noticed the SPiN icon in the MORE drag down menu on top of CBSSports.com at all times. Or perhaps you’re a long time fan of SPiN and we’ve already found a home in your favorites.

Either way, if you haven’t already noticed, we do things a little differently here. At SPiN, of course we’re all about sports. But at the same time, we also look at the other necessities of life.

You know: beer, babes, video games and cracking jokes.

Known as 'The Lighter Side of Sports,' we at SPiN are dedicated to providing our audience with all that and more. In fact, we've linked up with Maxim, The Burly Sports Show and we'll soon be working with some of Hef’s girls (we’ll get to that some other time) to make sure that SPiN is a daily destination on your browser.

Today, we're doing our part to get your mind off all the real fantasy football stats and prognostications. In fact, I'm pretty sure this will get your mind off anything else for at least the next few hours.

To start, I'll be presenting the Urbs' Blurbs 2008 Fantasy Fantasy Football Team. After that, I'd like to hear your thoughts. So after checking out my team, make sure to get on the message boards and choose your 2008 Fantasy Fantasy Team!

The selection of this team is based on two principles.

No. 1: Each of the six people you choose should be an active participant in your fantasies. (Not football here, either.)

No.2: The person you choose should have made some sort of major impact in the current year.

Easy enough, right? Just choose six objects of your desire who have also done something special in 2008. Also, just because my list contains six of the most gorgeous women to ever roam the earth, it does not mean that ladies cannot participate (just no pictures, please).

Round 1: RB: Marisa Miller

With the first pick in the 2008 Fantasy Fantasy Football Draft, Urbs’ selects Marisa Miller, from Santa Cruz, Calif.

Our boys at Maxim got it right this year when naming Marisa Miller No. 1 in their annual top 100 list. Pulling split-duty with Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret, Miller is clearly the top model we have these days, and she didn’t have to listen to Tyra Banks yapping mouth to find that out.

*PS: Happy belated birthday to Marisa who turned 30 on Aug 6. Sorry I couldn’t get my present there in time this year M, but you can come by any time and pick it up!

Round 2: TE: Megan Fox

A certain other men's magazine not-to-be-named-here selected Megan Fox as the hottest woman on the planet and among transforming robots. It's hard to argue with that when you catch even a glimpse of the 22-year old brunette-goddess.

Fox lit up the screen in the first installation of Transformers and will be back in the short-shorts for Transformers 2. For a brief time, Fox was on the CBS television show Two and a Half Men, where she played a 16-year-old temptress. Lucky for her because word is Charlie Sheen had $30,000 and an autographed Denise Richards poster he was thinking of offering for her "services."

* While taking a tight end in the second round of real fantasy football would get me laughed at, I think you can see the correlation here.

Round 3: WR: Adriana Lima

For many years Adriana Lima would have been my first overall pick without hesitation. Her hypnotic stare and flawless features kept her as my go-to hottie for a very long run. In fact, she finished in second place all-time just behind Jenny McCarthy and ahead of Elizabeth Shue (think Karate Kid I).

Here in 2008, Lima takes a dip to round three for getting engaged to Marko Jaric. This demotion is not simply for getting engaged, that wouldn’t change things at all. However, when a top Victoria's Secret model decides to marry an athlete, he should be somewhere near the Tom Brady level.

I mean, Marko Jaric? That would be like Gisele ditching Brady for Rex Grossman, only Jaric is even uglier than Grossman. I can’t stop shaking my head in disappointment, I really can’t.

Round 4: RB: Scarlett Johansson

To complete the blonde-bombshell backfield, I decided to choose Scarlett Johansson and her raspy voice. As if the perfect figure and amazing lips aren't enough, the sexual energy in Johansson's scratchy voice and innocent nature could turn on a light bulb.

Having replaced Soon-Yi as Woody Allen's main object for affection has gotten Johansson plenty of work this year, but it's her e-mail relationship with Barack Obama that has everyone up in arms. Though Obama denied the relationship as a whole, Obama did say that he loved Johansson in Lost in Translation, especially the first minute or so.

Round 5: QB: Angelina Jolie

In looking for a veteran leader to guide a group of youngsters I came across several choices, but only one had recently given birth to a pair of twins, acted as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency and saved a dying child by allowing him to touch her magic lips.

Alright, so I made the last one up, but would it surprise you if those lips could in fact solve our energy crisis worldwide or even cure cancer? I know one thing; if she donates her lips to science after passing away, the world’s food shortage is over.

Round 6: WR: Vanessa Hudgens

There are currently two types of Vanessa Hudgens fans: those who like High School Musical and those who are fans of ‘the picture’. For those of you who do not know what I’m talking about, welcome to the internet, a place where anything and everything you do can be broadcast to millions of people.

But whether you're a fan of singing 20-year-old high school students or not, if you're a fan of beauty then you're a fan of Hudgens. Like a perfect blending of Mila Kunis from That 70’s Show and Adriana Lima, Hudgens will be a fantasy star for many years to come.
