In order for Serena Williams to break the record for most career major wins, she's going to have to go through her most familiar foe.

Serena and Venus Williams will meet in a Grand Slam final for the ninth time on Saturday in the Australian Open final, marking the 28th time the sisters will have faced each other in a professional tournament. Serena has gone 16-11 in matches against her sister, most recently beating Venus in the U.S. Open quarterfinals in 2015.

Serena Williams is seeking her 23rd Grand Slam title, which would break a tie with Steffi Graf for the most in the Open era.

Venus Williams last made a Grand Slam final in 2009, and her last Australian Open final was in 2003 -- when she lost to Serena.
