| Petrova claimed her sixth career WTA Tour singles title, the fifth this year, at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany, on Oct. 8. Her other titles came at the Qatar Telecom German Open in Berlin, Germany, the Qatar Total Open in Doha, Qatar, at the Bausch & Lomb Championships in Amelia Island, Florida and at the Family Circle Cup in Charleston, South Carolina.
