Ancic diagnosed with mononucleosis, will miss at least 2 months

ZAGREB, Croatia -- Mario Ancic, ranked No. 11, will be sidelined from tennis for at least two months because of mononucleosis.

The Croat has a mild case and is expected to fully recover, tennis officials said Thursday.

He will miss tournaments in Indian Wells, Calif., and Miami, but could return for the French Open, which starts May 27.
