OSTRAVA, Czech Republic (AP) -Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic will face Juan Monaco of Argentina on Friday in the opening singles match of the Davis Cup's quarterfinals series between the two countries.
Thursday's draw also put Ivo Minar, who replaced Radek Stepanek on the Czech team, against Juan Martin del Potro on indoor carpet at CEZ Arena.
In Saturday's doubles, Lukas Dlouhy and Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic take on Juan Martin del Potro and Leonardo Mayer,
Reverse singles are scheduled for Sunday.
