Henin has lofty goals in return to pro tennis

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Florida (AP) -The moment Justine Henin realized her tennis career wasn't finished came this past June, when she watched Roger Federer finally hoist the French Open trophy, the one Grand Slam title he was missing.

Her passion for the game suddenly returned.

In an interview with The Associated Press at her training site, Henin said she wouldn't be returning to tennis if she didn't believe she could win Wimbledon and complete her own career grand slam - even as soon as next year.

Henin retired in May 2008, the first woman to walk away while ranked No. 1 by the WTA.

Henin said Saturday she left because she needed to realize she could do more than just play tennis. She said she was exhausted and didn't enjoy playing any more.
