Sharapova crushes opponent to reach Korea Open final

Presented by Epson

SEOUL, South Korea -- Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova routed Anne Kremer of Luxembourg 6-0, 6-2 Saturday to advance to the Korea Open final.

The top-seeded Sharapova will play for the title Sunday against Poland's Marta Domachowska, who defeated Abigail Spears of the United States 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 in the other semifinal and will play for a championship for the first time on the tour.

Sharapova has won all four of her finals, and the Russian will be going for her first championship since winning Wimbledon in July.

Sharapova, ranked No. 8 and Domachowska, ranked No. 100, will be meeting for the first time. Sharapova is 17 and Domachowska is 18, marking the year's second all-teenage final. Sharapova beat 16-year-old Tatiana Golovin of France at Birmingham, England, in June.
