Peer defeats Myskina in Istanbul Cup final to claim third title

ISTANBUL, Turkey -- Shahar Peer rallied to beat top-seeded Anastasia Myskina of Russia 1-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) Saturday to win the Istanbul Cup.

It was the third title for the 19-year-old Israeli this year. She won at Pattaya City, Thailand, in February and at Prague, Czech Republic, two weeks ago.

Myskina played despite an injured right arm.
