GSTAAD, Switzerland -- France's Richard Gasquet and Feliciano Lopez of Spain won their semifinal matches on Saturday to reach the final of the Swiss Open.
Gasquet, seeded No. 7, was given a shock in the second set by Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber before running away with the final set to win 6-1, 1-6, 6-2.
Sixth-seeded Lopez also had to fight hard to see off Marin Cilic of Croatia, 7-6 (7-2), 6-7 (5-7), 6-3.
Gasquet, 20 next week, started well against Kohlschreiber, who had knocked out third-seeded Fernando Verdasco in the quarterfinals. But the German fought back to take the match to three sets.
Cilic -- ranked 316 in the world -- took Lopez to tiebreaks in the first two sets, but the 17-year-old Croat couldn't hold on to his serve through the final set.
