The NFL officially recognized a record 73 underclassmen as having been granted special eligibility into the 2013 draft. The list includes Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel, NFLDraftScout.com's top-rated prospect, and a few surprises.
Announcing his decision on Twitter, TCU defensive end Stansly Maponga will forgo his senior season and head directly to the NFL. While talented enough to warrant consideration among the first 100 picks of the 2013 draft, the 6-foot-2, 265-pound Maponga is coming off a disappointing junior season. He recently had surgery on his foot.
