Matt Barkley, Ryan Nassib, Tyler Wilson and Landry Jones were considered possible top-50 picks, but only Barkley went before No. 100. When the run on QBs came, it was fast and furious, but Barkley might be the only passer with a chance to play in 2013.
Seriously, why would Nick Saban want to leave all this? Boredom, maybe. Fatigue, perhaps. Alabama's biggest obstacle at this point may be the system itself. In two seasons, it would have to win two of these games in a playoff to capture what would be at the time its fourth consecutive championship. That could flat-out just tucker a dynasty out.
