We do this post every year. With 32 games going down on Thursday and Friday, you want to know which ones should play out to the closest endings. Which styles will give us really good games. What are upset possibilities? So here we are. The five Thursday/Friday games that you need to make sure you watch.
Ole Miss may have punched a ticket to the NCAA tournament after a thrilling comeback over Missouri in Friday's SEC quarterfinals. The Rebels last made the tournament in 2002, but have never qualified for the field under coach Andy Kennedy. Ole Miss guard Derrick Millinghaus clinched the win with a floater with 1.1 seconds left.
Missouri held Texas A&M to under 25 percent from the field in a 62-50 win on Thursday night at the SEC Tournament in Nashville. Tigers' guards Keion Bell and Jabari Brown provided Aggies' guard Elston Turner with few open looks. Missouri hopes to do the same on Friday when facing Ole Miss sharpshooter Marshall Henderson.
On busier Saturdays and Sundays this season, we don't make you wait until the end of the slate of games to catch up with all that's happened. Afternoon Delight recaps the first five-or-so hours' worth of action, the perfect appetizer right before dinnertime.
