The Saints finished dead last in 2012 against the run. Big John Jenkins -- all 6-foot-4, 346 pounds of him -- could be the run-stuffing presence New Orleans needs to return to the top of the NFC South.
Though John Jenkins was listed at 354 pounds throughout the 2012 season, the former Georgia defensive tackle said he played closer to 370. Now, after losing nearly 40 pounds Jenkins is reportedly down to 332. A well-conditioned Jenkins could draw the interest of several teams at the bottom of the first round later this month in the NFL Draft.
The Chiefs are solving needs (Alex Smith, Dwayne Bowe and Branden Albert), which leads me to believe a quarterback or an offensive tackle will not be their top pick. If they can't trade out, then Dee Milliner makes the most sense.
