The 40-yard dash and bench press might get all of the hype but in terms of draft positioning, the most important tests administered at the annual scouting combine are the medicals. Who appears well on the way to recovery? Whose stock is in flux?
Given the competitive nature of the Combine, emotional highs and lows are to be expected. Day 3 of the 2014 edition, however, provided extremes -- with medical concerns overshadowing some remarkable workouts and insightful interviews with some of the year's biggest names.
Though they didn't lead their position group in the bench press, Tennessee's Antonio Richardson and Auburn's Greg Robinson could get the biggest boost from their efforts in Friday's workout. And Alabama's Cyrus Kouandjio -- who posted "just" 21 reps of 225 pounds -- won't see his stock drop due to the workout.
