In 2012 Green Bay Packers cornerback Tramon Williams was one of the most targeted defensive backs in the league, as opposing quarterbacks threw in his direction more than 100 times on the season. Williams attributed his struggles to nerve damage in his shoulder, an injury that first occurred in 2011. The injury has limited Williams' ability to jam effectively in press coverage.
Josh Morgan led the Washington Redskins in receptions last season in his first year with the team. He accomplished the feat despite reportedly playing through torn ligaments in both of his hands, according to The Washington Post. Morgan had surgery to repair the ligament tears last month. During the same week, he also underwent surgery on his right ankle.
