Orioles and White Sox played in front of (mostly) empty ballpark Wednesday because of the continuing potential for civil unrest in Baltimore. Some gallows humor, particularly for the players, is understandable.
The first two games of the series were postponed because of civil unrest and violence and the possibility of more in Baltimore. The third game was rescheduled for 2:05 ET because of the 10 p.m. curfew. The Orioles next series against the Rays has been moved to Tropicana Field.
