In an effort to get under the salary cap before free agency begins Tuesday, the Dallas Cowboys released linebacker Dan Connor and restructured the deals of cornerback Orlando Scandrick and guard Mackenzy Bernadeau.
The Cowboys simply found a way to win once again. It wasn't pretty. It was often erratic. But the Cowboys are now tied for first place in the NFC East because they were able to handle the Steelers with a dramatic 27-24 overtime win.
