Multimedia Developer (ShockWave)

Position Type: Full Time

Project/Department:Multimedia Technology

Job Description & Responsibilities:
The ShockWave Multimedia Developer designs and implements ShockWave-based multimedia applications and services. Applications to be developed include multimedia games, contests, live sports shows, and other multimedia content interfaces. The Multimedia Developer must be proficient in the Director Lingo language and in working with multimedia data types such as digital audio, video, graphics, animations, VRML, etc.

Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
1-5 years experience with Lingo (NOTE: Director score animation experience doesn't count)
3-12 years experience with other multimedia development environments (ToolBook, HyperCard, etc.)
Familiarity with Unix, Mac, and Windows development environments
Familiarity with Netscape, Internet Explorer ShockWave environments

Preferences:
2+ years experience writing large Lingo apps (5000+lines),
Experience in developing Internet (rather than Intranet) applications


Multimedia Developer (ActiveX)

Position Type: Full Time

Project/Department:Multimedia Technology

Job Description & Responsibilities:
The ActiveX Multimedia Developer designs and implements ActiveX-based multimedia applications and services. Applications to be developed include multimedia games, contests, live sports shows, and other multimedia content interfaces. The Multimedia Developer must be proficient in Windows C and Visual Basic languages and in working with multimedia data types such as digital audio, video, graphics, animations, VRML, ect.

Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
1-5 years experience with Windows C/Visual Basic
3-12 years experience with other multimedia development environments (ToolBook, HyperCard, etc.)
Familiarity with Windows development environments
Familiartiy with Netscape, Internet Explorer ActiveX environments

Preferences:
