![]() ARMEN KETEYIAN (Lead Game Reporter - The NFL on CBS) In his sixth year as lead reporter for CBS Sports' coverage of NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, Keteyian annually contributes reports on key NCAA issues and features on teams and players during Final Four broadcast. He joined CBS in 1997 as features reporter and works with CBS Television Network's lead NFL announce team and served as reporter for Network's Super Bowl XXXV broadcast. Keteyian also contributes reports for THE NFL TODAY and served as host and reporter for 2001 and 2002 Tour de France. He was reporter for CBS' coverage of 1998 FedEx Orange Bowl and 1998 Olympic Winter Games and serves as correspondent for HBO Sports' "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel" for which he won a Sports Journalism Emmy Award in 2001 and 1998, as well as "Inside the NFL"…after working for two newspapers in California, joined Sports Illustrated in 1982, then joined NBC Sports as reporter and producer, working on wide range of programming, including 1988 Olympic Summer Games. Keteyian served as ABC News correspondent (1989-97) reporting on hard-edged and issue-related sports stories for "World News Tonight with Peter Jennings" and other ABC broadcasts. He has written or co-written eight books, including Money Players: Days and Nights Inside the NBA and New York Times bestseller RawRecruits… five-time Emmy Award winner. Keteyian was graduated cum laude from San Diego State in 1976. He was born March 6, 1953 in Detroit and resides in New Canaan, Conn., with wife, Dede, and two daughters. |
