BONNIE BERNSTEIN
(CBS Sports Reporter) Bernstein joined CBS in 1998 as a correspondent for the THE NFL TODAY and lead reporter for the NCAA Men's Basketball
Bernstein was reporter for Network's broadcast of Super Bowl XXXV; studio host for U.S. Open Tennis Championships (2000) and Hambletonian (2000) and has covered track and field and figure skating for Network. Additionally serves as sideline reporter for CBS/WestwoodOne Radio's broadcasts of Monday Night Football, and served as reporter for Super Bowl XXXVII. She came to CBS from ESPN, where she was correspondent for "SportsCenter" (1995-98). Bernstein covered variety of sports at ESPN, including NBA Finals (1996-98), Major League Baseball Playoffs (1995-97) and NCAA Women's Basketball Championship (1997-98). She was reporter for ESPN's "NFL Countdown" and "College GameDay". Before joining ESPN, served as main sports anchor at KRNV-TV Reno, Nev. (1993-95), and KRNV Radio. She was also weekend news anchor at WMDT-TV Salisbury, Md. (1993), and sports and news director for WXJN-FM Radio in Lewes, Del. (1992-93). Bernstein was graduated magna cum laude from University of Maryland with degree in broadcast journalism. She was Academic All-America selection (gymnastics) and received Thomas M. Fields Award for academic and athletic excellence. Bernstein was born Aug. 16 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and grew up in Howell, N.J. She lives in New York City.
