Michele Tafoya joined CBS Sports in November 1994 as a reporter and host for the CBS Television Network's sports anthology show and college basketball coverage. She serves as a host of AT THE HALF® and as a reporter for college football games.

Tafoya, who calls play-by-play for the WNBA on Lifetime Television, has served as a reporter for the Network's coverage of the NFL, college football, including the 1998 National Championship Orange Bowl, and was late-night co-host of the 1998 Olympic Winter Games. She previously worked for KFAN Radio in Minneapolis, where she was a reporter-host and Minnesota Vikings sideline reporter. In addition, she is a former analyst for the University of North Carolina-Charlotte men's basketball radio broadcasts (1993) and the University of Minnesota women's basketball radio broadcasts (1994).

Before joining KFAN, Tafoya hosted a radio sports-talk show on WAQS Radio in Charlotte. Prior to that, she produced the morning drive show at KQLZ-FM in Los Angeles. She also served as a researcher at WRC-TV News, Washington, D.C.

After graduation from the University of California at Berkeley with honors and a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, Tafoya earned her master's degree in business administration at the University of Southern California. She was born Dec. 17, 1964 in Manhattan Beach, Calif., and now lives in Edina, Minn.
