Nevada QB David Neill had another gaudy statistical day (35 of 52 for 429 yards, 3 TDs and no interceptions), but the Wolf Pack couldn't stop Colorado State's Kevin McDougal, who rushed for 147 yards on 19 carries after putting up 189 yards last week. CSU QB Matt Newton also had a big night, throwing for 312 yards and three TDs. |

Trailing 23-0, the Vandals battled back and made a game of it late. With starting QB John Welsh still feeling the effects of a hip pointer suffered in the opener, former starter Ed Dean stepped in and threw three scoring passes in the fourth quarter. |

The Indians started quickly, and got a stellar effort from Robert Kilow (11 catches, 254 yards), but the Rebels had too many weapons, outscoring the visitors 17-0 in the second half. |

A week after struggling to get past San Jose State, the Tigers had no problem with the Mean Green. LSU got two quick rushing TDs from Rondell Mealey and was off to the races.
