Conference Wraps: A glance at every game
ACC | Big East | Big Ten | Big 12 | Big West | C-USA
Independents | MAC | MWC | Pac-10 | SEC | WAC

No. 20 Purdue 28, No. 16 Notre Dame 23
Drew Brees threw for 317 yards, but it was two field goals in the fourth quarter by Travis Dortch and a goal-line stand -- aided by Notre Dame's misplaying the final few seconds -- that made the difference at the end.
No. 4 Florida 58, Central Florida 27
The Gators led 48-14 at the half before settling in and cruising home. Florida QB Doug Johnson threw three of his four TD passes in the first quarter.
Navy 48, Kent 28
The Middies led 21-0 before the game was 12 minutes old and the Flashes were an afterthought before halftime. The bright spot for Kent was the connection between QB Jose Davis and WR Jason Gavadza. The pair hooked up for scoring tosses of 66 and 29 yards.
Louisiana Tech 55, Sam Houston St. 17
Tech QB Tim Rattay completed 16 of 18 passes for 254 and 3 TDs and the Bulldogs scored 48 first-half points in a rout of the Division I-AA Bearkats.
Texas Tech 38, Louisiana-Lafayette 17
Without Heisman Trophy candidate Ricky Williams, the Red Raiders struggled with the Ragin Cajuns for a while, but scored 10 points in the second half to put it away.
Minnesota 35, Louisiana-Monroe 0
Thomas Hamner scored three rushing touchdowns for the Golden Gophers, who led 28-0 at halftime.
No. 19 Arizona 34, Middle Tennessee 19
The Wildcats burst to a 14-0 lead and coasted, leading by as much as 34-0 before coach Dick Tomey called off the dogs … er, Cats. Dennis Northcutt continued to play himself into national prominence with an 80-yard punt return. Trung Canidate topped 100 yards for the first time this season, and with Keith Smith out with an ankle injury, Ortege Jenkins handled the quarterbacking adeptly with 16-for-23 accuracy and scoring one touchdown while passing for another. Game story.
