| Now that the green teddy bear mystery has been solved (he wears
it atop his head in statement about his stance on sexual abstinence), the
only question about Green is how he keeps going. The forward hasn't missed
a game since November 18, 1986, though the 36-year old isn't what he used
to be.
|
The hot-tempered Wallace led the Blazers in scoring and
the world in technical fouls. He's money on the low blocks, capable of
hitting the 3-pointer and one of the best defensive big guys in the NBA. If
he doesn't detonate, Wallace could be the key to the series.
|
| Breakdown: This is the matchup the Blazers must exploit. There's
no way Green can stay with Wallace on the inside, and his backup, Horry,
can't either. Wallace is too fast for them, has too much hops and should be
able to shut them down on the other end. If Wallace whips up on those two
and the Lakers are forced to guard him with Shaq, he's capable of getting
the big guy in foul trouble.
