Miller is 35-years old in August but his shot is aging well. He buried the Knicks in Game 6 with five 3-pointers over a span late in the third and into the fourth quarter. He poured 17 points in that final quarter, nearly single-handedly lifting the Pacers to their first Finals' appearance. Miller has bumped up his regular-season average from 18.2 points to 23.8 in the playoffs. In the biggest game of his young career -- Game 7 of West finals against Portland -- Bryant showed there's some substance to this superstar. He scored nine of his team-high 25 points in the fourth quarter, helping the Lakers erase a 16-point deficit. Bryant also led the team in rebounds (11) and assists (seven), including the alley-oop pass to Shaq that the center jammed down to break the Blazers' back.
Breakdown: Bryant isn't the pure shooter Miller is, but he does so much more. He's an NBA all-first team defender, leading the Lakers in steals in the playoffs (1.59 a game), second in blocks (1.47) and he's been the team's best playmaker in the postseason (4.5 assists per game). The one slip-up for the 21-year old in the playoffs has been the dip in free-throw shooting (82.1 percent in regular season, 73.9 percent in playoffs).
