Joe Paterno and Bobby Bowden can be expected to become 1-2 in all-time victories in major-college football this season, and Lou Holtz can move into the top 10. As for Bear Bryant's record of 323 victories -- consider that a 30-year-old coach today would have to average nine wins a season until age 66.
