Florida Offense vs. Georgia Defense Bulldog tailback Musa Smith is struggling with a hip-flexor injury that kept him out of last week's game and has his availability for this one in doubt. With Smith banged up, fullback Verron Haynes stepped up against Kentucky, scoring three times and amassing 159 total yards. Haynes, who caught the winning touchdown in Georgia's upset of Tennessee earlier this year, is a former walk-on who has become the heart of the Bulldog offense. Even if Smith plays, Haynes is expected to carry the bulk of the load. They're calling true freshman Fred Gibson the "Wizard from Waycross." It's only right that the first player to go over the 200-yard receiving mark at Georgia should have a nickname. Gibson (17 catches for 377 yards and 4 TDs) has emerged at the perfect time, picking up junior receiver Terrence Edwards, who has had problems with drops in the past few weeks. If Edwards gets back on his game, he, Gibson and Damien Gary form one of the top receiving corps in the country. Tight end Randy McMichael is a nice option, too. Redshirt freshman David Greene isn't playing like your typical first-year starter. Greene (125-of-195, 1,724 yards, 11 TDs, 4 INTs) has sizzled in leading the Dawgs to four consecutive wins, throwing for over 300 yards in each of the past three games. Greene has displayed great poise in the pocket and has splendidly directed coach Mark Richt's complicated offense. With tackle Matt Stinchcomb gimpy after injuring his groin on the first series of last week's game, Greene might have to rely on his feet to elude trouble, which will be wearing No. 13 -- Alex Brown.
