Florida has beaten the Bulldogs in 10 of 11 tries under Steve Spurrier, with Mark Richt becoming the third coach he'll face during that span (Ray Goff, Jim Donnan). Richt, who replaced Donnan last December, is no stranger to the Gators, having served as either quarterbacks coach or offensive coordinator at Florida State during Spurrier's entire tenure at Florida. The Seminoles went 8-4-1 with Richt on staff, winning the last three.

Georgia's Jonathan Kilgo is the strongest link on the Bulldog special teams. The senior punter ranks third in the SEC in yards per punt (44.0) and net average (40.0). His strong leg will be an asset in winning the field position battle.

Jacksonville is considered the neutral site for this game, and has been for 66 of the past 68 years. But consider this. Georgia's campus is over 300 miles away from Alltell Stadium, while Florida's 77-mile trip takes just over an hour via bus. It is practically the Gators' backyard, and they've played that way of late, winning eight of the past nine meetings there.
