They give away prizes on some websites to those who get the most picks right in their mock draft.

Words of advice: Don't copy this one.

This is the third one I've done in the past two weeks, and this was the toughest. There is so much speculation now, late Thursday night, about potential trades, plus lots of coaches and personnel guys sending out the wrong signals.

What makes it even tougher to do now is that I hate to put in picks that teams will probably make but shouldn't.

Like having all the teams in the top 10 pass on Oregon quarterback Joey Harrington when they know I believe they should take him. Ouch.

Or seeing Dallas use a high draft pick on a safety (Roy Williams) when they should take a defensive tackle or running back William Green. That hurts.

But this is the way it will have to be until the draft starts Saturday. I might change it if there is a trade or two, but other than that, this is the way the mock will stay.

Just don't plan on winning any money or contests by copying it.

Mock Draft
TeamPlayerPositionSchool
1. Houston Texans David Carr QBFresno State
One right, 31 to go. This is the right move for a new franchise. He's going to be an outstanding quarterback.
2. Carolina Panthers Julius Peppers DENorth Carolina
They love Texas corner Quentin Jammer, but pass rushers are so hard to find. In the end, the local kid wins out.
3. Detroit Lions Quentin JammerCB Texas
The Lions are still thinking about trading down, but Jammer fills a need and he's the best overall prospect -- aside from the quarterbacks.
4. Buffalo Bills Albert Haynesworth DT Tennessee
The immaturity questions are overlooked by the fact he's 20 and improving. Gregg Williams needs to improve the defense, and he saw what Richard Seymour did a year ago.
5. San Diego Chargers Mike WilliamsOT Texas
This is a must-upgrade area for the Chargers. Williams is mean and nasty and will be a perfect tackle for coach Marty Schottenheimer's run-based offense.
6. Dallas Cowboys Roy Williams SOklahoma
They want Jammer, and might trade out of this spot, but for now the pick is Williams over Miami cornerback Phillip Buchanon.
7. Minnesota Vikings Bryant McKinnie OTMiami
Mike Tice is a former line coach who knows what a good tackle can mean to a team; he opts for O-line help over North Carolina's Ryan Sims.
8. Kansas City Chiefs Ryan Sims DT North Carolina
The Chiefs are thrilled that the guy they wanted is still on the board. Will consider Joey Harrington, but in the end they have to take a player who can help now.
9. Jacksonville Jaguars John Henderson DT Tennessee
They want McKinnie or Sims, but unless they make a move, they don't get either one. Could trade back out of this spot if both are gone.
10. Cincinnati Bengals Joey Harrington QB Oregon
If the Redskins don't jump up to get him -- which is a possibility -- the Bengals have to take the quarterback. Coach Dick LeBeau wants tight end Jeremy Shockey.
11. Indianapolis Colts Wendell Bryant DT Wisconsin
The Colts have an awful front four and Bryant can play inside or possibly end. A wild-card here is Syracuse end Dwight Freeney.
12. Arizona Cardinals Charles Grant DE Georgia
The Cardinals had 18 sacks last year. Grant had five in one game. They love his upside.
13. New Orleans Saints Phillip Buchanon CB Miami
They will be tempted by Donte Stallworth, but they can get a receiver they like (Antonio Bryant) later.
14. Tennessee Titans Donte Stallworth WR Tennessee
They would love to get a defensive lineman, but with the best ones off the board they go for the local receiver. Another team that will trade down.
15. New York Giants Jeremy Shockey TE Miami
The Giants need an offensive weapon in the middle of the field. Haven't had a good tight end since Mark Bavaro.
16. Cleveland Browns William Green RB Boston College
Butch Davis wants a feature back, and Green is that guy. Much more big-play potential than T.J. Duckett.
17. Atlanta Falcons Javon Walker WR Florida State
He's big and fast and improving. The Falcons need his deep speed. Will also consider Hawaii's Ashley Lelie.
18. Washington Redskins Jabar Gaffney WR Florida
Would love to trade up to get Harrington, but if they can't, the pick has to be a little sexy. That should eliminate any thoughts of taking a guard. Might trade back, but if they are stuck they get another receiver to help the offense.
19. Denver Broncos Levi Jones OT Arizona State
A worry spot has been left tackle and Jones can fill it in a big way. Might also consider a receiver.
20. Seattle Seahawks Lito Sheppard CB Florida
Shawn Springs is still dinged and there isn't much on the other side. They have to get better play from their corners.
21. Oakland Raiders Ashley Lelie WR Hawaii
They can't believe he's still on the board. A big receiver who can run? That's Al Davis heaven.
22. N.Y. Jets Mike Rumph CB Miami
They want to upgrade their corner play with the loss of both starters from a year ago to Houston. Rumph and Aaron Beasley will give them two good-sized corners to go with smallish Ray Mickens.
23. Oakland Raiders Dwight Freeney DE Syracuse
The pass rush gets help from an off-the-corner rusher. He has the Raider-type of attitude.
24. Baltimore Ravens Napoleon Harris LB Northwestern
They fill the hole created when Jamie Sharper went to Houston in the expansion draft. Harris can attack the passer.
25. New Orleans Saints (from Miami) Antonio Bryant WR Pittsburgh
The Saints love this kid, and are thrilled to get him in this spot. Will take an offensive lineman in the second round.
26. Philadelphia EaglesEddie Freeman DT Alabama-Birmingham
They have to get a body in the middle of the line to take the double off Corey Simon. Freeman is that big body.
27. San Francisco 49ersMike Pearson OT Florida
He is the perfect player for their style of football. He's good in pass protection and is more quick than powerful. Could also go for a wide receiver.
28. Green Bay Packers Anthony Weaver DT Notre Dame
Can play inside or outside. Pack has to improve the run defense and Weaver can do that.
29. Chicago BearsDaniel Graham TE Colorado
They need another dimension in this offense. The tight ends are glorified tackles now.
30. Pittsburgh Steelers Ed Reed S Miami
Brent Alexander is 31 and Lee Flowers is entering the final year of his contract. Will also consider a receiver.
31. St. Louis Rams Andre Davis WR Virginia Tech
We know Mike Martz loves speed, and Davis has it. Davis will be a big star. Even with Terrence Wilkins on the roster, Davis is the pick.
32. New England Patriots T.J. Duckett RB Michigan State
Who expected him to last this long? The Pats need a feature back of the future, and Duckett is that guy.
