Paul Azinger


Azinger was at the very top of the golf world in 1993 having won three times including the first of what appeared to be many majors at the PGA Championship when he was diagnosed with lymphoma in his right shoulder. Azinger's fight back to the upper echelons of golf has been a heroic one. His book Zinger tells the story of his struggle with cancer. Azinger was awarded the Ben Hogan Trophy in 1995 for his perseverance under trying circumstances.
